Lindsey Simcik is a creative force, an OG podcaster, entrepreneur, spiritual seeker, and now, a new mom. You might know her as the co-host of Almost 30, a show that’s grown from a raw, early-days podcast into a vibrant community and multimedia brand.
What makes Lindsey so compelling is how fully she lives her own evolution. Whether she’s talking about transitioning into motherhood, her years of being single, or the messy magic of self-growth, she brings an honesty that makes you feel like you’re catching up with an old friend over coffee.
Simplifying Wellness
“I think before having a child, I had a really great run of being focused on myself,” she shared. “Lots of therapy, different modalities, two-hour morning routines, your girl was on her stack. Now, it’s liberating to not focus on myself so much. My energy wants to be with my son.”
Her days look different now, and so do her self-care routines. What used to be high-intensity SoulCycle classes (she once taught 15 a week!) has become strength training, long walks, and being on the floor with her toddler, Maverick. There’s still intention, but with way more grace.
Lindsey found power in simplifying. Instead of chasing every wellness trend, she’s tuned into what genuinely makes her feel good: red light therapy, Epsom salt baths, high-protein meals, mineralized water, and a few quiet minutes of meditation when she can get them. She reminds us that true wellness isn’t about doing more, it’s about doing what actually serves you.
“If your wellness routine is taking you out of the joy of your life, it’s not working.”
The Sacredness of Being Single
One of the most moving parts of our conversation was about the sacredness of being single. Lindsey spent seven years on her own before meeting her now husband – and those years weren’t a placeholder. They were the foundation.
“I just said, you know what? I’m not going to date right now. I’m going to date myself,” she explained. “I would take myself out to dinner, go to the park, get myself flowers. It sounds corny, but it’s actually a really profound practice.”
That practice helped her hear her own voice something she believes is essential before entering any relationship. It’s also what inspired her to create her course The Sacredness of Being Single, which has guided thousands of women to come home to themselves.
Growth, Change & Awareness
Of course, now that she’s in a new chapter, married, a mom, launching a book, she’s still navigating change, just with a different kind of awareness. Her new book, Almost 30: The Definitive Guide to a Life You Love, is a reflection of that journey. She and her co-host Krista wrote it while navigating pregnancy, big life transitions, and the inevitable pull between creativity and caretaking. The result is something Lindsey calls a “warm hug”, a guide for anyone in a moment of transformation.
Lindsey’s Favorite Daily Wellness Practices (Right Now):

- Hydration with electrolytes (she loves LMNT and mineralized water)
- Red light therapy
- Epsom salt baths
- Connection and play with her son
- 5-minute meditations
- Simplicity over “shoulds”
