CONDITIONS HELPED BY CRYOTHERAPY

There are many common conditions and ailments that can be helped by regular 2-3 minute cryotherapy sessions, including:

WHAT TO EXPECT

HOW IT WORKS

  • Whole body cryotherapy sessions typically last anywhere from 1-4 minutes, while spot treatments last 8-12 minutes.
  • Localized cryotherapy is performed over exposed skin on the area to be treated. During whole body cryotherapy, patients in a cryotherapy chamber are undressed with the exception of underwear, socks, and gloves to protect the extremities.
  • In the beginning, whole body cryo patients may only last 1 or 2 minutes, but many patients work their way up to three or four to receive the maximum benefits.
  • With localized cryo, we use a high-tech laser-guided system that indicates the exact distance and temperature during treatment.
  • People often use cryotherapy once a week or every other week.

WHY WE LOVE IT

Many people report a post-treatment energy boost as well as being able to fall asleep faster and have a more restorative sleep overall.

With localized cryotherapy, we can treat specific problematic areas for faster healing and recovery.

Since whole body cryo sessions mimic exercise, you’ll have burned an additional 500-800 calories. This can be very useful as part of any weight loss program.

Not bad for just a few minutes!

“I’ve spent years beating up my body competing in challenging ocean swims. Cryotherapy is a great way to heal sore muscles and recover from grueling workouts or races.”
